That’s a fact for all coffee makers. I used one for pour over and could tell the difference. Maybe most people won’t notice but many like myself sure will.

IMO rubber was a bad choice to begin with - they should've gone with Silicone instead. But I guess this was to keep the costs low.
+1 to remember to remove and clean the rubber plunger every few...

I was just looking at replacing my plunger and buying more filters. At this price figured I'd just replace it as mine has seen better days being over 15 years old.
