The software has come a long way. Windows 11 fixed a lot of issues, chrome is available as a native app. I have a 16gb sq2, and occasionally something weird might happen and it hangs up or a menu...

5G Surface Pro (arm chip) is great if you run all of the arm64 native software. running anything x86 thru emulation was horrible. If x86 emulation is as good as Apple Silicon's rosetta then I...

Once I had, probably surface pro 3 or 4 era, it was 8GB RAM, though I like the form Factor and ease of carrying it. But, battery life was really horrible and it becomes so hot sometimes you can...

Yes, it was disappointment. Microsoft needs to embrace ARM architecture more as that is the future. Too bad it's ARM -> x86 run-time is just slow as crap or I'd consider using a snapdragon arm64...

yup. when they first hinted integrating AI, i thought it would have been interesting.. if the reviews are poor.. guess no point of having a 7nm slow as balls and power hungry chip. surface 9 it is! ...

The reviews for the Asus z13 are actually quite good. It's in a class of its own as it really defines the "gaming tablet" form factor. You are correct that the battery life stinks though on the...

Read the reviews, horrible reliability, terrible battery life. Keyboards don't last a year, and you can't buy them separately like a Surface.

Are you referring to the Intel Ultra chips? Youtuber's testing showed the Core Ultra chips are not good and slower than many of the existing Intel chips. Also 7nm lol.... the AI power Gaudi3...

I was just reverse trolling people that comes in and complain about $200 Mac memory upgrades but fine with Microsoft $300 for the same upgrade. :)

Don't act so surprised. The RAM pricing tiers haven't changed in the ten years that they've been selling Surface devices.

Most games run fine at 720p low - medium settings on the 1235U chip. I don't have the Surface Pro 9 but I do have this same chip in another PC. I would say it's a chip that's better for productivity...
