have been to Honolulu and Maui. Tempting to go Kauai. I went with Southwest for $250 RT last Aug. Hopefully it will be the same this year since I am holding a few hundreds of credits from Amex cc :D...

Get a airline credit card that gives free seat upgrades and luggage... One trip for two and it pays for the yearly fee plus you typically get a lot of miles for signing up.
