I think the panels are slightly different. This model is basically the same as the LG 27GP950-B (lots of reviews for that one), whereas the 27GR93U-B is slightly lower-end.

Any thoughts on how this monitor compares to the 27GR93U-B? The specs look very similar, but I couldn't find find any reviews on this monitor (whereas plenty for 27GR93U-B).

No, they only have one FALD monitor, the 27GR95UM, and it's $900, which is $100 more than the 27" OLED. Though the mini-led is 4k 144hz vs OLED 1440 240hz
