I decided against it, as I wouldn't get much use from it. I have a small electric chainsaw, and rarely use it. As I said, the B&D reciprocating saw works for me. I used it, recently, to cut down a...

Soooo I got this, it arrived and the battery for the other stuff doesn’t power the chainsaw well (sounds weak and then dies if off for a few minutes). I was testing with 2 of my batteries while...

had one of these for like 8 years. Used it maybe 5-6 times per year for tree limb clean up in the back yard and take camping for firewood. leave it in the bed of the truck usually. finally died on...

I recommend against battery powered chainsaws generally, but Harbor Freight has a 20v battery saw for $75.

eh - I've owned this for several years, and taken out some 40 foot tall trees with it. it's nice that it's small, and you can climb a tree with it without too much trouble. Yes - it's not the most...

I have one of these. I don't use it often, but when I do it's perfect. So much nicer than spending all day screwing around with something like a reciprocating saw.

Have had this chainsaw for roughly 10 years. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate it a 2. It works for small projects, but not particularly well.

Got one of these years ago and it's excellent for light duty work. Makes quick work of small bs and is much easier than gas.

Got this a month ago for $120. It's not bad, struggles on thicker logs. Got it because I already have a lot of Black + Decker batteries and just needed something to trim trees at home. Have to...

Power is proportional to voltage, but you're right that it's not the only factor. I stand by this particular tool as being underpowered for the platform

I have this chainsaw; I use it a lot for small projects, but I have also used it to cut up trees a foot thick. It's not the fastest in the world, unlike my gas-powered saw, but it's a lot easier to...

Voltage means nothing. Look what an 18v Milwaukee can do. It comes out to how much power (not volts) the battery can put out.

I've had one of these for over a year and it came in really handy after we had some freezing rain and had tons of larger branches that needed to be chopped up and stacked. It will slice through small...

I've had this saw for six years, and I do not recommend it. 20V just isn't enough for a chainsaw to power through anything other than the smallest limbs (maybe 2" or less in diameter). You really...

I have several of these tools, also. And haven't had any problems with them. I don't have many trees in my yard, but I usually just use the reciprocating saw to cut up limbs. But the price is very...

I've had this for a few years and would only recommend if you intend to cut up branches or very small trees with it - 20v is a little underpowered for a chainsaw

I had one, and it worked well for small jobs. (4-6" branches) But upgraded to a 40v Ryobi, and I can REALLY tell the power difference (and charge capacity).
