I had gotten the DVD Quadrilogy a while back for cheap ($5 or $10) with an SD code. MoviesAnywhere shows it as HD and Apple TV in particular has it as UHD. YMMV but I think they may all get upgraded...

Aliens isn't part of this deal and you're wrong. MA and Vudu has the same. Also, FYI, buying Alien theatrical gives you the director's cut too in the special features.

Theatrical is superior IMO. Alien might be one of the only movies out there where the Director's Cut is actually shorter.
