I am Hyatt Gloablist so Rio will waive the resort fee even with a third party booking and yeah just like I said before, check-in and make the room look occupied so you don't risk your return flight...

Me too. But if you book this package with Rio as a hotel, you will be charged Rio´s resort fee. So the only option is to never checkin. But maybe they could cancel your return flight.
