I scored with a box cutter. Took a while but clean and it's what I had in the shop on hand. Best bet is a drywall cutout tool or oscillating tool.

I agree with others cuts are rough bought it last time it was on sale after trying it did not like it I used a hack saw blade with 24 tpi and cuts were smooth.

Agreed. I use an oscillating tool for drywall cuts - very quick, very clean.
