Right...when a place touts "hand made" or "hand checked", or "hand" whatever, I think I'd rather machine made to ensure consistent quality.

I don't mind looks so if I'm using watery items I wring them out by squeezing them in my hand over the sink.
You can also wash meats (I use the same method) an warm water will wash the fats off....
