Lutron fan controller works with ceiling fans without pull switches. As well as controls the speeds of the fan.

I got mine for $37 on ebay a few years ago, people sell them new in box that they purchase in bulk all the time.

Thanks - I have a house full of Kasa switches and didn't even realize they had released a fan/light combo switch and in fact just posted it here on SD. If it's the same switch you're looking at (the...

Unfortunately my fans don't have pull switches so I need a switch with speed selections. Looks like Kasa makes one that doesn't need a hub. I'll wait until its around $20 though, I'm in no rush.

Good that it works well for you. I tried out some homeseer and GE switches when I was testing before I setup automation years ago. I was using home assistant in its infancy as the zwave hub, and my...

I don't know... I have a ton of zooz switches and dimmers over zwave and haven't had any issues for 2 years now. They also act as repeaters to extend zwave for other uses like alarm sensors. I went...

Seconded. It's super reliable. Better than Z-wave, zigbee and wifi options.

Yes, and it looks like the option to report it as expired is disabled, maybe because it's a staff post?

An inexpensive WiFi on/off switch might do the trick, if you don't need speed control (set fan speed manually ahead of time with pull chain). Tp-Link's HS200 is decent quality and anywhere between...

You would need the Lutron hub, but with once up and running you can use the app and create an on/off schedule for the fan.

Does any reputable company make a “smart” wall switch for ceiling fans I could use to run ceiling fans on a schedule? Edit: Nevermind, this remote seemingly only works with such a device and was...

I believe that these remotes only work for AC fans.

Lutron is pricey but it’s more reliable than any other smart switch on the market. Thats what you are paying for. I have at least 10 Lutron Caseta switches and they are great.
