Based on my personal experience not recommend joining Lyca. They give nice offers to pull customers, but it is very hard to port out and bring your number back.

I just wrapped up the 6 month deal from Sept/Oct of last year, the $45 6GB/month plan. A little difficult to start it back then due to activation issues, but really didn't have any problems with them...

$2.50 per month less than a standard Mint unlimited rate...if they even give you the 3 months. Otherwise, $10 more. Not worth it.
