You would need a full sized solar setup costing several thousand dollars, not a little portable thing like this. I currently have about 5000w of solar panels and in oregon there is not enough sun...

Your suggestion is another way to go about this. It may be less efficient, but for my needs,(2 hour car trips) inverters work just fine. And, I don't have to worry about whether the altenator in my...

Yea, but it'll be a lot less efficient. The more efficient thing to do is to run a boost converter to boost 12v to 48V, that way you can pull 40A off the 12v battery or so, and charge at around 500...

You might be interested in a site called Jasonoid.com. He has tested virtually every solar battery on the market. Enough testing that it fills up spreadsheets with data. From what I have read, a...

You can use a inverter to charge this much quicker off of a 12v outlet. What size inverter depends on your fuse / wiring size. My wiring supports using a 20a fuse (10ga wires) so I have a 15a outlet...

Thanks for the clarification. After I posted I noticed that it would only charge at 120W from the wall, but I didn't see the bit about 60W from USB-C at the same time. 200W+ solar would be nice...

It's really 120W max solar charging, or wall adapter, PLUS 60W via USB-C, for a total of 180W. Not great if you want to charge it up in record time, but I imagine it's better for longevity of the...

I would say "no", not a proven brand. Not sure about their shenanigans on Amazon, but it comes down to your risk tolerance. I bought the first one about 2 years ago when they went for $550 which...

True, if you have a larger solar array, it makes sense to get something with a higher charge capability. I only have a 190W panel, which maxes out at about 150W and "usually" doesn't deliver much...

I watched this Youtube video where the guy tested an EcoFlow River Pro with a Zoeller M98 sump pump. The battery lasted 16 hours with the sump pump intermittently on and off. So I figure the Delta...

Is this a proven brand? This looks like one of those banned from selling on Amazon due to their review manipulations.

Not sure if anyone is still checking this, but this does qualify for the SCE Electric Portable Power Stations $150 rebate (if you live in a Tier 2 or 3 high fire risk area). You can get this rebate...

LifePO4 can last 4000 cycles before dropping to 80% battery life. Even though the tech will change, these power stations can still be useful 10 years from now. NMC like this one uses can last 800...

I've seen this model pop up a few times, a few differences: 120w Max DC charge (this is combined from wall and solar) with an additional 65w from USB C. The inverter is rated 1000w, 2000w peak. The...

LiFePo4 only matters if your usage is charge/discharge daily. If it is for emergency uses or trips to the beach then 800+ estimated cycles will last for a long time.
