Yes, perhaps there were no issues with the IR camera, which was seen as separate from the "camera", I did see a red light showing up next to the camera during the Windows Hello sign in.

That's strange. What version of windows did you clean install? I usually get the latest version of Windows directly from Microsoft subscriber downloads. Will try it soon.

It does not run hot at all, fan noise is minimal. I did a full clean installation and that way the fan rarely activates for normal tasks like word documents and web browsing. When it does activate it...
