You can get personal rechargeable fans on Amazon or Walmart all day long for ~$10. I’d advise that route. Especially if you already have rechargeable battery packs

I have this....and I'd agree. It is an abomination. To be fair I bought it 10+ years ago when there was still a few devices that used D batteries outside of the Smithsonian . Fan not very powerful...

I have 2 of these for camping. I use an adapter. It uses 2 rechargeable AA for each D size. Works well, but usually doesn't last through the night.
