i also got mine for $50 from home depot years ago. we’ve used it extensively to carry more stuff on trips.
it survived a flood with one of its levers now broken, i keep a 2x4 in it for that.

It keeps it closed but I wouldn’t hide gold bars inside it overnight. I agree with chickas post that it’s flimsy and not rigid but it serves its purpose of carrying things to save space.

I have this and it is worth more than this price. I recently took it to a trip to the mountains and it fit everything we packed. I highly recommend this. If I had another suv, I would get this again.
