Most likely since they are mostly C1s in the US. My guess is that there are extra cost to import that Canada does not have. Costco US doesn't even sell these.

Yikes. Yes, it's a reliable brand, but the inflation markup is unreal. At this price point, it should vacuum by itself and make coffee.
