I have these exact chairs and they are falling apart after one season. The wood is one step above balsa wood. They are constantly cracking and splitting. It's nice that they fold but they don't stack...

Poly wood is sharp as hell so would recommend to round the corners from the manufacturer cutting the molds

By my understanding plastic/plywood will outlast wood in this situation. I think if you have decent climate and you store after use then wood should last a while. If your in harsh environment...
