They may lock down the BIOS in such way that you can't install any other OS, except Windows. They can do it with smart telephones. Now they will do it with PC and laptop.

I'd rather this laptop had 128GB non-up-gradable storage and 16GB RAM. They cut the corner where it should be left alone. What a shame.

Just checked Intel ark and I'm completely confused. I though the 12th Gen was AlderLake and the 15th Gen is Metor Lake. However the 125H is indeed the MeteorLake chip which is the latest generation...

Not true. There are plenty of laptops out there using DDR5 SODIMMs. HP EliteBook 845 G9/G10, Framework Laptop 13 and 16, plus pretty much all gaming and workstation laptops.
