Knipex cost three times as much, but last ten times as long. For those who use their tools a lot, it's well worth the expense (as are the $250 plastic rolling toolboxes).

Knipex or no go if you're a pro. Every brand of pliers can have sharp teeth, but none of them last nearly as long. Finally went through a pair of my own Knipex pliers after putting it through hell...

These pliers should never sully the interior of any $250 rolling plastic...

Another thing to watch out for is that the handles have a tendency to slip off. But a couple drops of super glue inside the handle take care of that.

Be aware the metal on these are relatively soft. They are great for light duty work, but do not hold up for any heavy clamping situation without suffering damage.
