Did you do all the dell.com bios and system updates? I did that first thing, and have had no issues. I keep it plugged in all the time, almost silent (then I'm not gaming heavily either).

got this, but when plugged in at idle or light browsing it goes into perma fan cycling.. fan on for 40 seconds, fan off for 40 seconds.. back and forth forever. no way to control fans. unplugged it...
