the mouse sometimes gets these issues. But the customer service is totally the BEST. They've replaced my mouse with bare minimum questions, 3 times over 2yrs as G502 has 2yrs warranty.

dont buy this if you plan on using the changeable dpi through the mouse buttons. Theyre very easy to click while playing. The software isnt the most reliable either. other than that mouse is good....

what I did was disable the buttons and also set my mouse such that it only has the default DPI as a yellow "preset" (also a former mx500 user, love both -- big meaty mice)

I was thinking the same thing. I just can't go back to a mouse without a thumb button. The Deathadder has the same number of buttons as the mouse I used 25 years ago.
