Today this combo is available for $129.00. Maybe you can hack this price down if you don't want the battery, but I suggest keeping the battery. This sander can drain battery's faster than I can...

Can you return the sander and keep the battery for free?

If you bought as separate skus and not a package sku then your receipt/invoice should clearly show the prorated price for each individual sku and that would be the equivalent return value. If the...

I got this similar deal last time but the HD cashier said I can't just return the battery since the are sold together for the promo. I've done this hack on other tool combos but this time the battery...

Sanding drywall is not a good way to assess a sander. Its not even meant for that.

Just used it for about two hours on some drywall… it’s not worth the money. An oscillator with a sanding attachment is just as good albeit I understand the mechanisms are different but the end result...

So pickup (or get delivered) both items and then return the one you don't want.

I know this is a noob question, but I’ve never understood the hack. I always get hung up because when I choose pickup for the battery and delivery for the tool, or vice versa, it gives me a...

I use the 3m cubirton sandnet discs on my random orbital sander. They often get tattered on the edges and don't work well anymore. So, I cut them to fit this and get another use out of them. Any net...

lol... thanks. I ended up buying it anyway... "just in case" - this is why I have a cabinet full of unopened Milwaukee tools. Because you never know, I might use one once in the future :D

In your case, probably never. Haha But the point allows for getting into corners (think like a wooden door). If you’re just sanding something completely flat, then this wouldn’t be the proper...

When would you use something like this vs a 'regular' orbital sander btw? I have the dewalt 5” random orbital sander btw… still havent opened it up or used it go figure. Lol

I’ve never had an issue. Not sure if you can still do cancel online or via chat or if the only option is instore return. I’ve done it both ways before and no issues, but this may be store...

Anyone know if customer service gives you a hassle if you return the battery when doing an online purchase?

Thanks for the clarification. I just bought it and will try it out.

That's what I thought at first. But while researching I've read several comments by others stating they are much different in how they work and that it was worth it to get this over using the sander...
