The basic 2880 (bundled here with the 2980 6 in) is worth $100-120. That's the one I'd sell and keep the "free" 2888 variable speed for $160 rather than hack.

Good deal!
If you need only 1 grinder, I've had no problem selling them on Facebook marketplace for $100. So I'd say this is $200 worth of grinders and $120 worth of batteries here.
