Not saying you're wrong but ATK loves teak and Teakhaus. They have Teak lower on the Janka hardness than their other winners. They also test for knife blade retention when choosing a cutting board.

Don’t forget, after a harsh washing, or periodically, use a bit of mineral oil on a cloth and wipe it down and let it dry to soak in. It helps a lot. Also you can use it for wooden handles and stuff....
