My MB does have USB-C on the back, but also a USB-C header for the front panel. I actually use it quite a bit. Both the one on the case and in the back. The port on the case is much easier to access....

Check the parts. Mine came without the drive cages. The magnetic front 5.25 cage cover is a pain if you intend to use optical drives. It comes completely off.
