When I bought mine with ads I just got on chat with an Amazon rep and said some of the ads are inappropriate for my daughter to be seeing. I don't have a daughter. Lol. They removed them for free.

I upgraded from the Oasis to this model and I love it. The battery is amazing compared to the Oasis. I do miss the page turn buttons a bit, but the touch screen on this works pretty well.
