The hate comes from the newer 100% cheapo Chinese ones. I bet they were decent 12 yrs ago. I had one that was just trash and I very much maintain my equipment. I have 2 echo saws that are...

Received mine today and was in good condition. Problem is they ship it in the retail box and not a shipping box. All in all couldn't be happier for $125 for a backup saw.

I think electric chainsaws have their uses, but not cutting up four trees. I've got 6 gas chainsaws from 92cc down to 40cc and an electric, a 24 volt Kobalt. I use the electric all the time to cut...

Battery powered chainsaws are garbage, or at least all of Dewalt's offerings are. Shelled out the big bucks for a 20" dewalt and the battery would die before I even got through a single tree. After...

Thank you for the info but, after my experience with "MTD Parts" lack of customer service, I have a rather bad attitude about this "deal" in general. I think I will just purchase a new Stihl saw...

I price matched with Lowes and it was in stock. You do not get a case at Lowes but it does come with the chain scabbard. I have an old case anyway so no big deal.

Good advice I might throw in use ethanol shield (that's my go to) for removing water in your gas can and keeping it fresh.

You're right. 50:1 is much more common these days. Engine technology has improved and even oil quality has gotten better. It's more typical for older engines to need a richer oil mix of 40:1 to...

I'm not clear what this question is even asking.... Are the taxes we pay on anything worth it? No, the government we purchase for our tax money is a horrible bargain - inferior quality defective...
