I'm not sure. The recent ones I purchased are all still made in japan. So I suspect they still are. The AAA dropped to 750mah from 900mah a few years ago? The AA are available in 2450mah and 1900mah...

I bought some of these 6 months or so ago during a sale. They were all materially larger in diameter than standard AA batteries so as to preclude there use in quite a few standard items I had...

Never gonna understand why Amazon would have a 10% discount on something that, if it works as it should, you'll not need anymore of them for a decade... And to get the discount you must order by...

I stated the manufacturer rating. The video did not even address that. I also stated that they could only attain that capacity if discharged at a very low rate. 100mA is by no means an extremely low...

Honestly, I have had a pack of these for about two years. Many devices they won't work at all in. And they never hold a charge. Not even when they were new. I have been throwing them out in favor of...

I had decent experience with EBL actually. I'd keep a bunch of them for use in my flashes on wedding shoots. Started failing after a couple years which for the price was totally acceptable. Yes,...

It pretty much contradicts your entire statement. 100mah is an extremely low discharge rate and Energizer only made it to 2000mah. Yeah I bet the manufacturer would never inflate their numbers lol

That's interesting but it doesn't contradict what I said. The lowest discharge rate used in that video was 100mA. I was stating their official ratings.Example.

Most alkaline AA batteries are rated for about 2850mAh. However, their effective capacity is much lower, unless discharged at a very low rate. At moderate to high rates, NiMH can vastly outlast them.

Thanks OP. Picked up these and 24 AAA. Energizer non rechargeable hold about 2000mah. These are about the same price. So basically after 1 recharge, these pay for themselves. I have had these for a...

Measurement with the charger will never be precise as it is just estimation. Must have device with 2 connectors to each side, or battery with balance wires like LiION/Lipo. I have dedicated device...

Yeah, that number didn't sound right to me either. Yours sound about right. Voltage is determined by chemistry. NiMH is always 1.2V per cell. They will still work with most devices. 1.5V...

Always check the listed voltage on rechargeable AA and AAA, these are 1.2v not the normal 1.5v these will not work in everything that uses AA or AAA.

How are your Amazon 2000 mAh only 16mOhms? All mine measure 60+ mOhms at room temperature. I have never seen an AA NiMh measure below 50mOhms. Even my Eneloop 2000 are only 50mOhms. I measure with...
