Just got my mom the Midea 12k u-shaped window unit, and it's fantastic. Her heat works fine so the lack of heat is fine. Very quiet, cools amazingly well, and is rated as being much more efficient...

Midea has No heat. Window units are perfect if you live in a trailer park. Get a window unit with the same specs and price is the same.

What "air"? That's the whole point of making the flush can for noobs. It's not "air". It's refrigerant that displaces the air/moisture. Whatever is left of the flush can in the lineset is pretty...

Oh, so you're not removing any air from the system. What happens when air mixes with refrigerant? Why do the instructions say to pull a vacuum?

This deal keeps getting better for me. Originally they sold it to me for $556.11, military discount and apparently a little extra for the inconvenience of having to call. My order arrived but only...

That's nice. They must be clearancing them out for the new version (which I believe is the Aconee branded ones). Ebay has been far cheaper historically (especially with 20% coupons).

No. One was 220 and other two 120V. I ran lineset (with power for 120Vs) through the window and sealed it up with double foam board (plugged 120V lines into outlets). I tapped off the existing AC...

Explain to us how that's possible when mini splits have one service port. How are you going to flush anything? Like the previous poster said vacuum is the proper way if you want it to last more than...

Which app? Is it Pioneer Airlink? I just got a Zokop unit and saw the app they recommend with it has garbage reviews.

From my understanding, that's not for prolonged usage you've gotta rate it down to 80% capacity for that--and I bet this will run for longer than you'll use a garden tool (15 hours straight vs 15...
