I'm more interested in this 12TB deal because the price per TB is quite a bit better on the 12TB drive. If you need a bigger drive the 16TB should be a good choice, but it seems like the 14TB and...

I have a 4 bay microserver. If I had 5 drives what do you recommend to get the 5th drive connected? Some sort of external enclosure? Ive been out of the game for a while.

Ordered one, system doesn't see it. Doesn't show up in BIOS, device manager or disk management. First time buying a refurbished hard drive, normally buy new. Think I'll avoid refurbished hard drives...

I’m 0-2 with mine. First one was fine until I started to copy files to it. I changed the drive letter to F. Started copying it worked for about 30 minutes and then it threw an I/o error. After that...

I just bought a Ugreen 6 bay NAS on Kickstarter for $650. The hardware is phenomenal and comes with an I5 11th Gen processor. Software is like maybe a 2 right now, but am thinking of loading unraid...

In case a drive fail then you have to go minimum raid 5. And when you are doing raids, the big 3 right now are synology, QNAP and ASUS. In the same order with the same prices you get this result:...
