That's funny. That is my MC as well. I actually bought mine for $455 after $25 coupon and returned it, but then had second thoughts about it. A day after returning mine, two showed up as open box....

Pretty sweet deal then! The closest MC to us (not close at all) only shows one open box for $407 but it says it has a broken web cam, and no new units.

Got that same model as well but from Costco a couple of weeks ago. Very happy with the screen, battery life and power. I think the Macbook Air M1 for 700 at Walmart is a much better laptop overall...

The mediatek is not an upgrade. Just google that part number you will see. Buy an intel 6E and put it in instead.
