I'm looking to get into upscaling/converting some dvds to 1080p using some ai software and with my current setup I get an error message that my pc doesn't accept "gpu acceleration" and would be slow....

You are probably going to need more RAM I would reach out to the software vendor may times they work better with Nvidia or AMD. You might need more cooling for your case and possibly a bigger power...

I have no clue y tf this pinged me but u obviously need A GPU or at the very least a good cpu... The most basic search will lead u to that buddy

Correct the software is usually biased to one GPU vendor just due to the cost.
