Same prob for me but I have a giant HAF 932 case. Filled up all the slots with velociraptors and 1TB Caviar Blacks, I mounted mine in the INSIDE of an optical drive bay. get a 3.5" to 5.25" bay...

I went w/ the PSU mount, it's not any where near a fan or vent :D While I was in there I looked around and I have enough space to getto rig 2 more drives easily in this case :D

don't use 2-sided foam/tape, as its harder to separate when you need to... velcro works... we use the heavy duty "industrial strength" peel-and-stick stuff... clean target surfaces adequately...

Vibration is no problem, heat is no problem (if you don't block any PSU vent holes), and the only thing I'd worry about is the SSD coming loose from the double-stick tape and shorting against...

Vibration or magnetic field should not cause an issue with the SSD. However, if you are looking for a crude way, why not just duck tape it to the inside walls of the case?

Vibration of fan shouldn't be a problem correct? Its just the heat that might be the issue? I'd be mounting it with double sided foam tape. I'll get a pic of my idea later tonight.
