10MB/s read 5MB/s write means it won't make a difference if it's USB3.0 or not, the practical max of USB2.0 is around 33MB/s xfer.

http://www.kingston.com/flash/dtig3.asp , I don't think it is USB 3. It is a G3 model, has a 3 in it... but all other things say no. It seems like 10mb a sec is slow...
