I really doubt any $200 tablet is going to get an upgrade to ICS, so I would not even make that a factor in your decision.

Understandable, but you have to realize a few things.
Not all China vendors are created equal.
Some USA vendors sell this model.
You can easily find it on Amazon for Sub-$200.

Although the new Color Nook out-specs the Kindle Fire, according to Gizmodo, the Kindle Fire (with the Silk browser) has much faster web browsing. I find this easy to believe.
