selling on ebay is probably your best bet.
You could get better returns by buying slickdeals that pop at those stores and then reselling the items on ebay or cl, but that is a somewhat risky...

Sears' Parts Dept. won't let you use a Sears gift card! Maybe being so behind the times is one of the reasons they're closing all those stores.
I'd suggest you use them as soon as possible.

Most online websites that turn gift cards into cash give probably 60%-80%.
You might be able to get close to 90% back via Ebay (before fees).
Or try and find someone on Craigslist. I've seen...
