Going from one type of charge card to another (ie: Platinum, Premium Gold, Gold, Green, Zync) does not affect your report, because the account number stays the same. It will continue to be reported...

Ask AmEx. When I upgraded my chase card, the only thing that changed was the features of the card. Same number, history, statements.
