+1 Leave Windows 7's defragger alone. Nothing else is necessary or useful.
Plus, SVI stores more than just system restore data.

That's where your System Restore information and data is stored. If you don't want those files, then turn off System Restore for that volume and those files will get wiped. Then run your defrag...

win7 has a built in defrag that works automatically with no user intervention. why do you need to use another program?

i ran udefrag3 on a win7 machine and its showing that the system volume information is fragmented a lot and its not defraging this. is there a way that i can fix this?
