I bought this exact model from Walmart for $200 after tax a couple months ago. It's definitely worth the money, although the build quality is cheap, compared to my Sony; but totally understandable....

This TV accepts 1080p input but can only display it at 720p resolution by downscaling. From a resolution standpoint, the text would be worse.

The OP is posting for a LED 720p, the 1080p you are referring to is CCFL. They are both LCD, just the back lighting is different. LED is thinner, lighter, blah blah blah
