I think your both right in a way. McAfee use to be notorious for denying rebates on the grounds of one rebate per title per year, but rebaters like us (SD'ers) simply got the word out on McAfees name...

What? No you don't....the card in the box had a code which you activate online, then you get a 20$ Rebate card. Completely separate from the 68$ MIR

Don't forget the "$20 rebate for online activation thingy" wasn't in a lot of the boxes this time. Instead the "special offer inside" was a mobile rebate security offer.

McAfee language often says they will honor 1 rebate per product, not promo code. So if you bought TP 2013 in prior offer they'll disallow a 2nd submission, been that way for yrs.
