I have been in the same situation before with T-Mobile. I tried it, Figured it could not hurt and would just be a waste of 5 minutes if it did not. 6 weeks later I forgot about it and the rebate show...

You already wasted the same amount of time it takes to fill out a rebate by typing this post. So just fill it out and try it! Worst case is that it is a waste of a stamp.
