This is a ADC, not a DAC. I had bytecc rebates come back OK, so I bought it. Still not sure what i'd use it for. Maybe it's good for when your PC or amplifier is already using all of its analog...

I'll second the slow-to-unreliable bytecc rebates. And they seem to sell a ton of stuff free after rebate. They probably make up the product cost on the time value of your money as they sit on it for...

I was thinking clean signal transmission in a carPC... that's what I'd use it for anyway. Digital signal from the computer all the way up to the amp, then this converter before you run the signal...
