They actually do charge a monthly membership fee, which they tell you nothing about until you notice it (or don't) on your CC statement. And you have to put in Payment info in order to get the free...

The source is called google. Just google for "bigfishgames.com complaints". I see 2 types of complaints: 1) For people who pay for 1-time game, they are implicitly signed up for this "game club"...
