All I can say is buy it. Put it in Dell Studio 1749 and it now flies. Boots in 30 seconds, IE explorer opens in less then 2 seconds after desktop appears. Very happy with it.

according to the part number, ST750LX003, it is the OEM version. STBD750100 is the retail version. exactly the same drive.
