I used the mobile website and made sure it had my nearest store selected as "my store" so it showed the lower price on the product page (probably cause it defaulted to store pickup)

Good call, I didn't realize the online price worked. When I looked at it, was showing 299 still so I thought it was in store only, but when added to cart the price did go down to 229!

no problem within 90 days. past that you could probably still do it... they might just give you store credit. I always buy clearance items and when the price goes down I keep going...

Ditto. I upgraded to this set and the drill is rock solid. I think the chuck issue is related to DW's 12v Li-Ion drill, which used to own and it did have a wobbly chuck.

SoCal area it dropped to 299 then. As of 3/13 it went to 229. Good solid drill. I got the 4 combo when it clearanced to 124.
