Those that dont have cable or never will, will not get anything more from the 3 tuner card. If you have cable or may get cable tv then yes, it wouldnt make sense to get this one.

Seems silly to get this when you can get the HDhomerun Prime that does everything this does but has 3 tuners, and does cablecard. ClearQAM is being phased out so not sure why you would buy this.

Hard to beat FREE Looks like it is only $9.99 from Microsoft if you have Windows 8 Pro. If not, it is $99, yeah, kind of pricey. Don't fret, SDHRdual works with open source DVR programs too.

Bought it then tried it on a windows 8 machine, without windows media center. Didn't like that, and then looked at the prices to install the media center - expensive in my book and sorry I didn't...
