Nope, but what's the point of buying a lens which isn't that great wide open even if it is cheap? My 24-70 2.8 is much better in quality even though it lacks 1.4. But again, 1.4 is not that useable...

Personally, I certainly am. Sure wish I could get something shorter than 40mm for my APS-C under $200. The Canon 50mm 1.8 is amazing for under $100 but it sure is a pain in the butt in close...

I am just better off getting the 35mm 1.8 by Nikon? How often will I need the extra aperture, or the extra 5mm? It's cheaper, and it seems Nikon lenses will give slightly better image quality.
