No, but you should be able to return it, re-buy it, and use the promo code. (Look into their return policy, I'm not familiar with it, but this is pretty standard procedure).

I did it. Just make sure the old service is fully disconnected and then just plug the ooma into one of your existing phone jacks. Not a big deal.
