Interestingly, I just went through the trouble of putting all that in my microcenter and it came out to be more expensive due to availability differences. In any case, your build still isn't as good...

This computer isn't even as powerful, doesn't include a monitor, a heatsink, cooler and is more expensive.

Oh yeah? Mind showing me a build with i7 that's cheaper that includes a 1080p monitor? And I want the 60D because I already have nice Canon lenses. Far cheaper than buying a prosumer camcorder.

No, the 60D is the best for my needs. I was going to build a desktop, but I can get that computer for $650, I can't really build an equivalent PC for that much. It helps that it's a portable laptop.

a 60D is a camera - you want a camcorder

Yes, good specs. You might consider swapping out that HD with an SSD to give it an extra boost in speed, but even without it that machine will be fine.

Hey everyone,
Would this computer be sufficient for video editing (I'm planning on buying a 60D and editing footage in 1080p)
