Helpful comment. Do you smack your wife and kids around when they do something wrong too? My old sliding compound mitre was a 7 1/2" Makita that finally died after about 12 years of use. I...

I have a low power Delta table that I have been using 7 1/4" blade (this Freud blade) with great result; may be the zero tolerance insert that I made helped to minimize splintering. Only 2 drawbacks...

Really. If you are asking this what are you doing buying power tools in the first place? Do you put e10 gas in your lawn mower too?

I don't believe the arbor hole for the 7 1/4" blade (5/8") would fit in the 12" miter saw (1").

You need a 12" blade. Freud makes nice mitre blades as well, but be prepared to spend over $100 for a decent blade in that size. Also be aware that Freud makes different series of blades with...

Diablo blades are great, but a 7 1/4 blade is for skil type saws, not table saws. And 24 tooth is for construction work. Crosscutting 2x4s to length. Apps where you don't care about the wood...

Have a Bosch 12" sliding compound miter saw I picked up around Black Friday that I still haven't used yet. How would a 7-1/4" blade do in it?

I think this blade would work just fine, I've cut off doors with much lesser of a blade. What you need to do is score the veneer on the top side of the door about 1/32 to 1/16" above you line you...
